New Partner, Refer To Me

In Canada, it is common for physicians to see patients from locations that they are not familiar with, or move to locations that they are not familiar with, leaving them feeling very lost with no one to help them. As a result, physicians don't know the health professionals in their area that can support patients in need of help. This makes it very challenging for physicians to find someone to refer the patient to, which ends up hurting the patient.

Fortunately, there is finally a solution to this issue that is so prevalent in the Canadian healthcare system, and this solution is refertome.ca

Arya Health is excited to announce our new partnership with Refer To Me! Refer To Me was created by an Ontario-based psychologist who, after thirty years in private practice, recognized the need for health professionals and Medical Doctors to have a common space in which to come together in order to collaborate and refer to one another.

As a Medical Doctor or specialist, you may not always know where to turn in order to refer a patient in need of individual, parenting, marital or family mental health help. You may also not know where to refer a patient in need of a complementary service such as physiotherapy, speech and language assistance or for their dietary needs. And even if you have a list of resources, you may find that many professionals have long waiting lists or are no longer taking on new clients or patients.

Refer To Me offers you a Canada-wide resource directory on which you can easily and quickly find the right professional who is available to receive your referral. By searching the directory according to a specific concern, location, language spoken or population served, for example, all of the professionals matching the search will appear. You may then exchange messages with the professional through our private messaging feature, if you choose.
